A watershed is the area of land which drains to a lake, river, wetland, or other waterway. The Rudee Inlet/Owls Creek watershed is a very special place located in the heart of the Virginia Beach resort area. Watersheds are essential linkages between water, people, and other living things and it is important that we understand where they are and what we need to do to protect them. The Rudee Inlet Foundation is working to support responsible management of our special watershed in order to preserve its natural beauty, wildlife and other benefits for future generations.
